You were stuck at Rykers.
Who knew you were such a rider.
You were given so much pain.
You never knew you could get away.
You sought justice to no extend.
Now everyone here is wishing you were here instead.
Jay z said you were a prophet.
But to them you were treated like a puppet.
Justice is coming like you wanted.
Even though it came late because you still got haunted.
You said you were cursed but I like to say you were blessed.
Now you get to rest easy with no more to get
Unreal how you didn’t take a plea.
In your shoes everyone would flee.
You stuck to your ground and fought it with a crown.
While everyone was fighting against you hitting u with a round.
You were known as a Browder but acted like bowser.
We all bow our heads to you because you were no imposer.
Real as could be you still couldn’t live.
Giving everyone and their mothers all you could give.

Somehow after watching this a couple of months ago I felt like I needed to write. Going through this poem brought those feelings back. I felt so much pain for the Kalief…. the pain that was inflicted within him literally killed him. If we could get this to go viral that would be amazing. As I wrote this poem I felt his pain once I read it the pain had fled.
